That's right! It will finally be released for everyone to enjoy TODAY! Head to the Steam page right now and check it out!

The release build v1.14 includes these updates:
  • Several optimizations for up to 3x framerates on lower-end CPUs!
  • Added different collision sounds depending on impact.
  • Added different finishing sounds depending on place.
  • Changed engine sound for Centaur.
  • Fixed some minor usability issues on Create Driver.

This is a release build with just a couple of minor tweaks.
  • Fixed issue where one controller could be set to both players in splitscreen mode.
  • Finish time report during race is no longer shown for chasing player in splitscreen mode.

We're approved by Valve! This means that releasing the game is finally up to us. They verified v1.11 as release-worthy, but we're still making some final polish after some additional feedback from youtubers previewing the game. Here's what's new in v1.12.

New
  • Added name generator to Create Driver screen. This means you don't have to come up with a name or use your real one. Just click the button and bask in amazing names like "Jixxefoi Juvacil"! They're sometimes better, I promise.
  • Compacted spy reports to be more interesting. AI is now more prone to spend lots of cash on upgrades and addons if they have it.
  • Several optimizations to loading routines for a smoother experience and higher framerate, especially on screens related to loading maps and minimaps.
  • Nicer loading sequence for races. Render hickups should be gone. It still freezes for a second though while it loads but its still a huge improvement.

Fixed
  • Fixed major issue which sometimes caused cars to not run for new profiles on fresh installs.
  • Fixed issues with overlays causing them to render incorrectly in the second screen in splitscreen mode.
  • Fixed spacing and colors of elements on Create Driver screen.

​Small stabilisation and hotfix release. But also managed to slip in some nice new stuff in there.

New
  • Added win/lose streaks and change difficulty dialog which helps player balance the game more easily
  • Cars engine frequencies are slightly randomized so they don't amplify each other
  • Added permanent guest profile so extra profiles aren't needed to be created for your first local race if you don't want to.
  • Animated player marker
  • Nicer buttons are now used everywhere possible

Fixed
  • Fixed boostbar size to fit splitscreen better
  • Fixed AI buying addons they shouldn't buy in career
  • Fixed issues related to profiles and time functions
  • Made time report smaller so as not to take up unnecessary screen estate during races
  • Lowered default volume for voice
  • Removed difficulty setting when creating profile. It is now primarily set by the win/lose streak dialog instead. Or at any time in options.

    2D top-down racer remastered and created by Benny and Ralf at Solid Core Games. The game was originally released in late 2008.

    In february 2015 it was greenlit for release on Steam through the Steam Greenlight program.
